History:
In the center of all the activity on the mountain, the Lodge evolved from barracks-style quarters at the Olympics to an employee and guest housing complex in the late 1960s.

The 1980s ushered in the third stage of the Palisades Tahoe Lodge evolution when it was transformed into a premier ski-in/ski-out condominium resort. Remaining at its original location, it is still nestled at the base of Palisades Tahoe, which is designated a California state landmark as a “Pioneer Ski Area of America”.
